We've been kind of busy lately but there have been a few things that I wanted to post so I will just do them in one big post. This is just a cute picture of Isabelle. She loves to stick out her tongue and does it constantly.
This is a bad picture of Justin's pacifier, or pacifas as he calls it. We've been wanting to take it away from him since he was 18 months old but I told Dave he had to do it because it made me sad to think of taking something away from Justin that he loved so much. I know, I'm lame. Well last week Dave finally did it. He cut the top of the pacifier off so when Justin tried to suck on it it didn't quite give the same effect. Justin said it was broken. Of course he was upset but luckily it only took 2 nights and one nap time of screaming for a while to get him used to not having it. Of course now he wakes up at 6 in the morning sometimes and with nothing to suck on he is ready to get up for the day. Is it too late to give the pacifier back?!

Last week Dave volunteered to help out at Robyn's track and field day. That's him in the red shirt. He was such a proud Daddy. Robyn is quite the athlete and took home the blue ribbon in every competition that she was in, the 100 yard dash, hurdles, long jump and softball throw just to name a few. Robyn was so proud of herself and wouldn't let me hold her ribbons for her because she wanted everyone to see that she had all these blue ribbons. Great job Robyn!
Dave and I did make it to the Melting Pot last Friday. It was sooooo good. I can't remember the name of anything we got except for the dessert, dark chocolate raspberry. Mmmmm! I especially loved the Rice Krispies dipped in chocolate. It was also just nice to get out without any kids because that has rarily happened since Isabelle came along. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bradshaw for babysitting!

4 Years and Counting!

Today is our anniversary! We are going on our anniversary date Friday to the Melting Pot but today we did a couple fun family activities. This afternoon the kids and I met Dave at the zoo for lunch. It was packed because of Spring Break but still way fun. Then tonight we went to one of our favorite places to eat, Tia Rosa's. It was a nice little celebration but I can't wait for the Melting Pot! Four years has gone by so fast and we have been so blessed in such a short amount of time. Two kids, a new house, lots of fun times, and of course being sealed together for time and all eternity! Dave and I met on a blind date towards the end of September four and a half years ago. We were engaged on that next Valentine's Day and married a month later! It all happened pretty fast. We got to do it all over again a year later when we were sealed in the San Diego Temple. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from over the years. Cancun

Need an FHE Idea?

Go check out the Mark Mabry exhibit at the temple. We went there yesterday and the display was much better than I had expected. I thought that his pictures were amazing! If you don't know who Mark is, he is a well known photographer around the valley and he actually took our Bradshaw Family pictures a couple years ago. Here is his website if you want to check it out http://www.mabrystudios.com/. He has more information about his exhibit there.

Half a Year Old!

Wow, I can't believe it! How does time go so fast? It really seems like I just had Isabelle and now she is 6 months old. She is such a fun baby and there are so many things that I love about her. She is so dang cute and loves to smile! She is sitting up on her own and can roll over but usually chooses not to. Her doctor says she probably doesn't like to so she just waits for me to come get her. She has been eating rice cereal for about a month now and today we are going to start on squash. MMMM! One of my favorite things right now is that for the past two nights she has gotten herself to go back to sleep without any help. I am so excited and hope that this leads to her sleeping through the night again! Just yesterday she started clucking her tongue. Who knew that a 6 month old could do that? She is one of the wiggliest babies ever and loves to play with the tags on everything. I think I will have to buy her one of those taggies blankies soon. I love to watch Justin play with Isabelle. He can make her laugh so hard and it is so cute because they have the same exact laugh. Yesterday was also her six month appointment. She was in the 70th percentile for height, weight and head circumference. She weighs more than her nine month old cousin Sophie! We are so grateful for Isabelle and can't wait for the fun times that are ahead with her.
